ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Having released "It's Raining In New York" in 2014, this tour introduces the newest CD "Wanna Tell The World" which is available NOW for purchase and/or digital download.
"Mikel Paul, singer songwriter from San Francisco CA brings his cool, playful and intimate tunes, stirred up in a stew of what has been best described as "Blazz". Where obvious flavors of the blues and jazz mingle. As Mikel weaves his own sense of story, groove and melody, hints of Mose Allison, Randy Newman, Tom Waits and Michael Franks will creep in. A story teller with his own style, Mikel's tunes come in flavors, always mixing the intimate, the sincere, the cool and the fun as his main ingredients."

Mike will be joined by bassman Al Hospers, and drummer Mike Walsh.
Al Hospers has toured as an opening act for Tower Of Power, Argent, Canned Heat, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Elvin Bishop and more. While attending the University of Miami he performed with jazz greats such as Ira Sullivan, Louis Bellson, Stan Getz and had a rock/pop band with Bruce Hornsby. Moving to New York in 1980 he joined a reunion group of Blood Sweat and Tears, touring the US and Europe, later joining the Buddy Rich band and touring with them as well.
Mike Walsh has been a student of drumming for over 30 years. Mike is currently a member of the jazz group Equal Time, surf/jazz/soul group Tiger Belly, rock band Reverend Thunderhorse, and electronica groups Fiveighthirteen and Romeo Bonapart. Mike graduated from UNH with a Bachelors degree in Music Performance and is a drum instructor at Portsmouth Music and Arts Center and Shaker Road School in Concord, NH.
