Eight-year-old, Scout is a serious Signing Time Fan! She was born with Loeys-Dietz Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder. When her neighbors, Joey+Rory Feek, gave birth to their daughter, Indiana (Indy), who happens to have Down syndrome, Scout and her family made sure the Feeks knew all about Signing Time too.

Rachel+Aaron Coleman's first daughter, Leah was born profoundly deaf. Four years later, their daughter Lucy was born with Spina bifida and cerebral palsy. Leah Coleman is the inspiration behind the creation of the Signing Time series. Signing Time has been seen on public television, Nick Jr., Netflix, and in minivan entertainment systems around the world. When Rachel was 17 years old, she placed her first baby girl for adoption. 18 years later, Laura reached out to Rachel and the two were reunited. This happy reunion is celebrated by countless Signing Time families who follow the Coleman Family today.
Although the Feek's trials differ from the Coleman's, Rachel was compelled to connect with Scout's, and Indy's families. Over the past year, these families have all blessed each other and have been blessed by each other. We want to continue to share that love, connection, and friendship with you.
