Many people and organizations are actively engaged in helping people in impoverished areas around the world. Rarely do these organizations meet to share project details, resources and lessons learned. There is an opportunity for achieving a greater good through facilitating better interaction, sharing resources and knowledge to make projects more sustainable and impactful.
These same organizations are often looking for local volunteers to help with fundraising, marketing, or administrative tasks, or to join their teams on future trips. People interested in volunteering often dont know whom to contact to offer their assistance.
The International Service Summit is intended to empower more community members to personally become involved in cultural exchange opportunities with other countries.
