June Core's Rhythm & Blues Review 7:00 PM
Renowned bay area drummer, June Core performs music from his latest CD release Rhythm & Blues with guest artists Mark Hummel, Chris Cain, Kid Andersen, Aki Kumar, Rusty Zinn, Jim Pugh and more. June's impressive resume includes stints with Robert Lockwood Jr. and Johnny Shines, Little Charlie and the Nightcats, James Cotton, Laverne Baker and Angela Strehli as well as every notable blues artist in the Bay Area. He has shared the stage with BB King, John Hammond, Willie Dixon, Albert Collins, has been nominated for multiple Blues Music Awards and performed on several Grammy nominated recordings. For the past 14 years June has been a member of Charlie Musselwhite's touring band.
