Beauty from the Ashes-Benefit Concert
Join Kayleen Asbo, pianist and Santa Rosa Symphony Music Historian, Bonnie Brooks, vocalist and Larry Robinson, poet for a heart-opening evening of music and poetry tracing the themes of loss, love, hope and grace.
Music by Handel, Schumann, Brahms, Fanny Mendelssohn, Samuel Barber, Leonard Cohen, John Lennon and Loreena McKinnett will weave together with poetry of Mary Oliver, David Whyte, Naomi Shahib Nye, Rashani Rea and others in a journey celebrating the human capacity for resilience and beauty in the midst of darkness and sorrow.
100% of donation will go to benefit musicians affected by the fire.
