HANDELS MESSIAH - presented by Symphony Chorus of New Orleans
First performed during the Easter season in 1742, the baroque oratorio has become an annual favorite and is a part of the December holiday ritual for many concertgoers.
Symphony Chorus of New Orleans has performed Messiah annually for decades, says Music Director Steven Edwards. Its uplifting to see generations of families coming to hear Messiah and experiencing firsthand the true meaning of the season.
