Parker Quartet
Since their founding in 2002, the Parker Quartet have established themselves as one of the most sought after quartets in their generation. Now in their fourth year in residence at Harvard University as well as currently being in residence at the USC School of music and previously at the University of Minnesota and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, they were the first ever Artists-in-Residence with Minnesota Public Radio.. Their awards and honors include Chamber Music America's pretigious Cleveland Quartet Award, the Grand Prix and Mozart Prize at the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition, and winners of the Concert Artists Guild Competition. They have appeared at many of the world's most important venues including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the 92nd Street Y. And they are strong supporters of the Music for Food project and give benefit concerts throughout the United States for shelters and food banks.
