The Transformations of Herbert, a New York City Fairy Tale
Destitute Herbert falls in love with a rich young girl and she loves him back! But her parents send the police, and just as they pound at his flophouse door, a pigeon offers Herbert the chance of escape by becoming a pigeon himself. This is only the first of a series of transformation that bring Herbert, step by step, closer to his beloveds door. Featuring songs influenced by the vocal sounds of the 1920s and 30s.
