Melo-Drama (part of Summer Sounds)
A program of drama, for those who like mystery and love. The acclaimed SMF Summer Sounds continues with a diverse program of works inspired by poetic sources. World-class musicians perform. Pre-concert talk at 6:30pm.

Mozart Quintet for piano, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and horn
Caplet Conte Fantastique (The Masque of the Red Death), for harp, string quartet, and narrator
Crumb Ancient Voices of Children, for voice and chamber ensemble
Tchaikovsky Romeo and Juliet, for two violins, viola, two cellos, bass, and piano, arr. by V. Mendelssohn
