Gala Dinner & Concert (part of Summer Sounds)
The SMF Summer Sounds festival opens with the Gala Dinner and Concert. Set at the President's House atop Mary Baldwin campus, this event offers great chamber music, preceded by a catered meal and drinks and followed by dessert. World-class musicians perform Beethoven's grand Septet and Ravel's Introduction and Allegro for harp, flute, clarinet, and strings.
Enjoy this chance to dine outside overlooking the Mary Baldwin campus and downtown Staunton. Afterward, the concert begins in the main house. All food and drinks are included in the admission price. Limited tickets will be sold.
