Heather Dale Concert
If the words 'Celtic music' make you think of wispy ballads or endless jigs & reels, then prepare for a Celtic concert like you've never heard before. Heather Dale defines herself as a "21st century Celt", fusing jazz, rock and world music influences with her own Celtic folk roots. With bold original songs and cheeky modern twists on old favourites, her concerts feature as many as a dozen folk instruments, all played by Heather and fellow multi-instrumentalist Ben
Deschamps. The two musicians are also seasoned travelers, and chat about their often bizarre road stories between their songs: chasing bears into a Walmart, flying on a hot-pink airplane to a concert in Hungary, and dodging spray-painted sheep on a Welsh highway. "An informed but
