Lisa Doll
Lisa approached me with a handful of extremely lo-fi laptop demos, while we were playing together in a previous band. Upon first listen, I could tell she had a gift for creating powerful yet upbeat songs with a pop sensibility. There was a nice tension between fine pop and rock n roll naivety. The project caught my eye taking me back to the days before things locked into a steady groove and predictable chord changes. Together we fleshed out the songs, and put together a 6-song EP. Along the way we have taken on several mercenaries, who have composed the rest of the Rock n Roll Romance. The band has hit the ground running, and has no plans on stopping anytime soon. ~Andrew Stevens
