Central Jersey Choral Society Presents Bach and Mendelssohn!
CJCS will be performing Bachs exquisite fugues set to Psalm 130 and a selection of Psalms by Mendelssohn. Through their settings of the Psalms, we will present together Bach and Mendelssohn, his student displaced through time. The Psalms are some of the most singable texts ever written, and there is no better way to spend an evening than in the hands these interpretations of the Psalms.
If the online ticket sales window has closed, tickets will be available at the door for $20.
Due to the extreme weather we have been having, our concert venue must change; the previous venue burst a pipe and is out of commission for the foreseeable future.
The concert will now be held at the Mayo Concert Hall in the Music Building at The College of New Jersey. The College main entrance is at 2000 Pennington Road Ewing, NJ 08628. Parking is in lots 4, 5, 6 and 7 and you can find a map of the College to guide you to the Music Building here: https://tcnj.pages.tcnj.edu/about/campus-info/campus-map/
The date and time remain the same, Sunday, January 14 at 4:30pm.
