Voices and Viols: The Buxtehude Consort and Sonnambula
The Buxtehude Consort and Sonnambula viol consort are collaborating for our next concerts, January 11 at St. Paul's Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, and January 12 at Church of St. Luke in the Fields, New York City.
We have a wonderful program of music for voices and viols by Bach, Buxtehude, Rosenmuller, Schein, Schenck and Schop, with mezzo-soprano Virginia Warnken; alto Jenifer L. Smith; Elizabeth Weinfield and Loren Ludwig, viols; and organ virtuoso Liga Vilmane.
