Butoh+
Please join us for our first DAIPAN Butoh+ performance night at the Taoist Studies Institute in Phinney Ridge! Tickets will be on a sliding scale ($5-$25), though no one will be turned away for lack of funds!
Our November line up features new DAIPAN butoh Collective member Shoko Zama; Paula Helen of Portland, OR; Movement and Theater artists Honeydo, Beverly Aaron's new one woman play "The Right Shoes," and a collaboration between the Dunava Balkan vocal ensemble and butoh dance, led by Fiore Grey and DAIPAN butoh master member Joan Laage.
DAIPAN butoh+ is an opportunity to develop and widen our butoh dance community by hosting a variety of new and experienced performance artists. We hope to inspire each other by sharing artistic practices, nourishing community, and encouraging collaborations. We want to nourish a cross-disciplinary, cross-color lines, cross-age, and cross-gender communityboth with the performers and the audience and we would love your presence, your friends, and your help to make this happen!
