Hello Michigan friends! I am not kidding when I say Johnny's Speakeasy is my favorite gig in the universe. Friday, November 17, I return to Johnny's in the lovely town of Ann Arbor for yet another rousing concert. This time I will bring along copies of my new Travianna Records CD, Incendiary Kid. The title refers to a time when I threw a cherry bomb on Harry Truman's front porch. What can I say? I had a problem with authority and my brain wasn't fully developed yet. After a few hours in the Jackson County jail followed by a history lesson from my father, I decided to give up a life of crime. That's when I started writing songs and attending the CYO dances all over the Kansas City area.
Now I'll bring a brand new batch of songs to you good folks in Ann Arbor.
