Buck Nickels & Loose Change AND Swinging Doors
Buck Nickels and Loose Change features the songs, singing, and great fender guitar playing of Buck Nickels, plus the pedal steel of Larry Cragg (taking time off from touring with Neil Young), bass of Ross Perry (taking time off from Sunnyside Nursery) and CC Dawson, drums.
Swinging Doors is five locally famous musicians, featuring four lead singers and lots of harmonies. Steve Baker (better known as general manager of Freight & Salvage in Berkeley) on electric guitar and vocals; Ray Bierl on acoustic guitar, fiddle, and vocals; Mayne Smith on pedal steel and vocals; Markie Sanders on bass; and John Hanes on drums.
