BetaSounds II: AmericanSounds
Don't you wish you could listen to your favorite American composers in the comfort of your favorite coffeeshop? BetaSounds has got you covered in their second performance at the Conservatory Coffeehouse in Georgetown. Sunrise of the Planetary Dream Collector by Terry Riley is as unique a listening experience as the title implies. Enjoy Barber's sumptuous Adagio for strings and the clean minimalism of Phillip Glass while sipping a glass of wine or a warm PSL. We'll have a special guest, composer and violinist Jessie Montgomery who will be performing one of her own pieces, Strum, and there will be a chance for the audience to ask questions. We look forward to seeing you there!
