Come join in the celebration of the careers of two distinguished Oregon composers. Hear a musical concert in which nearly every work on the program will be a world premiere.
Cascadia Composers proudly present new music written for strings, winds, voice and piano. The concert features a stunning list of performers...pianists Asya Gulua and Susan DeWitt Smith; strings by Margaret Bichteler along with our special guests from Eugene -- the Delgani String Quartet including violinists Wyatt True and Jannie Wei, violist Kimberlee Uwate, and cellist Eric Alderman. Featured also is Roger Cole in a solo work for bass clarinet, along with Sydney Carlson and Nancy Teskey, flutes, mezzo soprano Sierra Renz, and Barbara Heilmair performing on clarinet.
The works by these composers will cover a wide stylistic range and we promise a most entertaining evening for you all.
