Exclusive Screening of DAD - Tribute to Gary David Goldberg
On Saturday November 4th 7pm there will be a exclusive screening of Dad at Oldcastle Theater in Bennington, Vermont. The film was written and directed by Gary David Goldberg and stars Jack Lemmon, Ted Danson, Olympia Dukakis and Ethan Hawke. Gary, who passed away in 2013, served on the Center for Communication in Medicines (CCM) Board for many years. The event will be a tribute to his kind and generous spirit.
Dad tells the story of a family facing the realities of aging parents with sensitivity and humor. There will be a Q & A and dessert reception following the screening. Proceeds to benefit CCMs SpeakSooner community programs, which help patients and loved ones prepare for conversations with doctors.
