TIM ELLIS MOVIE MIX TAPE: Screening from the Archive

Guitarist, educator, recording studio owner and bastion of the Portland music community for over three decades, Tim Ellis touched thousands of lives in the City of Roses through his rockin' music, bawdy humor and take-no-prisoners hustle. Tim passed away in March 2016 after a brief but fierce battle with melanoma, and his daughter Tiffany Ellis is currently in post-production on a film celebrating his life and legacy entitled THIS IS TIM: A Musical Life.

Join director Tiffany Ellis and special guests on a wild and wacky journey through the Tim Ellis archive, featuring rare concert performance footage from the halcyon days of 1980s Portland rock, never-before-seen home movies and extended interview clips too long to make it into the final film. Get a sneak peek into the process of making the film and enjoy some live storytelling and music from some of Tim's collaborators throughout the years.
