Live and Become is a magnificent epic story about an Christian Ethiopian boy who is airlifted from a refugee camp to Israel during Operation Moses and passed off as the son of Falasha mother. Although he thrives as an adoptive son of a loving Israeli family, he is plagued by two big secrets: He is neither a Jew nor an orphan, just an African boy who survived and wants somehow to return home. The film follows his odyssey from boyhood to adulthood: from Ethiopia to Israel and back.
