Amor Artis - Reflection and Refuge
Amor Artis performs Dietrich Buxtehudes masterpiece, Membra Jesu Nostri, a series of cantatas reflecting on Christs body on the cross. Amor Artis will also present responses to those cantatas composed by lauded New York City composers. They include Pulitzer Prize winner Caroline Shaws To the Hands, a work by Zachary Wadsworth commissioned for this occasion by Amor Artis, and a work by Gregory Spears.
