Guitarist Lynn McGrath in Concert
Classical guitar master Lynn McGrath presents a fascinating program, including Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco's "Platero y yo," for narrator and guitar - both parts performed by Ms. McGrath. Based on a book written in 1914 by Nobel Prize winning poet Juan Ramon Jiménez, and originally conceived for famed guitarist Andres Segovia, "Platero y yo" tells the story of a poet and his little, silvery-gray donkey, who was both traveling companion and confidant. This charming story will captivate listeners of all ages.
A significant portion of your ticket purchase will go directly to Outlet, an LGBTQ youth support and advocacy group offered through Peninsula based non-profit Adolescent Counseling Services.
