Farm to Festival - Introducation to Agritourism
Farm to Festival, a one day Agritourism workshop, will cover the fundamentals and best practices needed to develop a thriving Agritourism operation, community festival or farm to table event.
Who should attend: small farm operators, ranchers, chambers of commerce, economic development centers, public and elected officials, attorneys, festival planners, and event producers.
Keynote speaker: Trevor Lane, Community & Economic Development Director for WSU Ferry County Extension provides education and information about the history of agritourism, examples of options for small farm participation, information about barriers to agritourism, rules and regulations (liability), direct marketing and promotions, and much more.
