Mother and Child-NW Chamber Chorus
To celebrate the Christmas season, we focus on the composers who have taken their inspiration from stories of Mary and the birth of her son. We sample three very different settings of the Magnificat by W.A. Mozart, Richard Nance and Christine Donkin, and spanning four centuries. Some favorites from our choral library are blended with new music by composers from Spain, Poland, Norway, Canada, Missouri, and Kennewick, Washington, plus our traditional carol sing-along.. Guest oboist Ursula Sahagian joins us for this beautiful program.
