¡Asegure a su mujer! (Insure Your Wife!) (U.S., 1935) An insurance salesman has a hot idea to sell policies to protect husbands from infidelity. Everything goes swimmingly for him until the return of a former lover whose husband has placed a policy on her. Nada más que una mujer (U.S., 1934) This Hollywood Spanish-language version of Pursued is a steamy jungle romance involving a plantation owner and a torch singer. Beautifully photographed by Rudolph Maté, it showcases the diversity of the Spanish-speaking world through Russian-Jewish-Argentine actress Berta Singerman, as the singer. 35mm, b/w, 81 min.
