"People under the spell of the Western Den often watch them with their heads tilted upwards, their mouths slightly open, pulsing subconsciously in time to the music.  It's like observing someone having a very strange dream." (-Zoe Atlas, Sound of Boston: Local Spotlight) http://www.thewesternden.com/music/

Formed in February 2013, and driven by a shared passion to create music with purpose, The Western Den is the collaborative work of Deni Hlavinka and Chris West, who together, blend compelling lush harmonies with ambient textures to produce a sound all their own. They released their debut EP, Battle Hymns, in May 2013 and premiered themselves to the public, opening for Melissa Ferrick on the northeastern leg of her national tour, in the summer of the same year. They have since shared the stage with artists such as Tall Heights, Saintseneca, Lucy Dacus, Mark Erelli, Paula Cole and the Boston Pops.

Honeysuckle is a progressive folk act that blends older influences and traditional instrumentation with modern effects and inspiration.

Comprised of Holly McGarry, Benjamin Burns, and Chris Bloniarz, the trio can frequently be found performing in the Boston area and surrounding cities in the Northeast, playing alongside bands like The Ballroom Thieves, The David Grisman Sextet, Boy & Bear, Sam Moss, The Western Den, The Novel Ideas, Shook Twins, John Craigie, Grey Season, Damn Tall Buildings and others. http://www.honeysuckleband.com/homepage

In 2015, Honeysuckle performed at Newport Folk Festival, was chosen as a Converse Rubber Tracks artist, and was nominated for Best Folk Artist of the Year, and Best Americana Artist of the Year at the annual Boston Music Awards. In 2016 the group played Lollapalooza on the Pepsi Stage as well as CMJ in New York City. They have also been nominated again for the categories Best Americana and Best Folk Artist at the 2016 Boston Music Awards, as well as new nominations, Americana/Roots Act Of The Year and Album Of The Year for Red Line Roots' 2016 Big Reds.

As a recipient of Club Passim's Iguana Music Grant, Honeysuckle recently released a new full-length album on March 24th, 2016 to a sold out crowd at Club Passim. Also available is their debut EP, "Arrows," released on April 29th, 2015.

Ben Cosgrove is a traveling composer, pianist, and multi-instrumentalist from New England. He performs regularly all over the country, writes scores for films, plays, radio, and television, and has produced several well-received albums of original instrumental work that straddles a line between folk and classical music. His electric and exhilarating live performances are at once dazzling and intimate: music that has been described as stunning and as compelling and powerful, all presented with warmth, honesty, and the easy familiarity of a troubadour. From 2012 to 2014 Ben served as the Signet Artist-in-Residence Fellow at Harvard University, and he is a recipient of a St. Botolph Club Foundation Emerging Artist Award. He has also held residencies and fellowships at Acadia National Park, Isle Royale National Park, Middlebury College, the Vermont Studio Center, the Schmidt Ocean Institute, and the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology, and he spent a year as the artist in residence at White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire and Maine. In 2017-18 he will be creating new work in partnership with the New England Trail, a long-distance hiking trail connecting New Hampshire to Long Island Sound.
