Big Band Bash
The Big Band Bash is the Alaska Aviation Museums premier fun event, encouraging attendees to experience the golden age through dance, live music and themed atmosphere. Much of Alaskas aviation heritage is anchored by the pioneers of the 1920s, 30s and 40s.  While we honor these men & women every day, this is an opportunity to experience and delight in the spirit of that era.  The evening will be full of fun activities, including dancing, open bar, eats, costume contests and more.  The Anchorage Jazz Ensemble entertains as a live 17-piece orchestra, giving authenticity to the evenings party. As a fundraiser for the Alaska Aviation Museum, all proceeds from this event support the Alaska Aviation Museums efforts to create new exhibits, reach more audiences, and develop new educational & community programs.
