Ceremony Of Carols: Presented by the Archdiocesan Cathedral Choir
Under The High Patronage Of His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Geron Of America, the renowned Archdiocesan Cathedral Choir and Chamber Orchestra present: The 41st Annual Cathedral Christmas Concert "Ceremony Of Carols" on Friday December 15th 2017 at 7:30PM!
The annual Christmas Concert at Holy Trinity Cathedral has become a staple in the New York holiday concert scene, continuing a tradition that began with the first Cathedral Christmas Concert under the baton of the late maestro Dr. Dino Anagnost in 1976. This year's concert will be held on Friday December 15th, 7:30PM at Holy Trinity Cathedral, 319 East 74th street. The renowned Archdiocesan cathedral choir and orchestra along with distinguished soloists will perform Benjamin Britten's "Ceremony Of Carols", as well as familiar carols of the holiday season and of course, the highly popular annual carol sing-a-long of Christmas classics! Distinguished soloists include Elena Caramihai, harpist, and Metropolitan Opera mezzo-soprano Karolina Pilou. The concert will be followed by a reception in the Chiotes Family Cathedral Hall.
