The Independent Marketplace - New Years Revolution
The Marketplace is celebrating New Year's ReVolutions by bringing together the best artisan products to rejuvenate mind, body, and soul.
Show your ticket to receive special deals and discounts with participating vendors. Students & Military $3 with ID. Kids under 16 free.
Featuring only independent collectors and makers, The Independent Marketplace puts a uniquely local flavor on your New Year's resolution.
The Marketplace's usual "Farm-to-Table" produce and "Truck-to-Belly" prepared foods will nourish you for the evening. Outside, Cruz N Gourmet will be serving hot plates of Fuji-meets-California in a perfect fusion. Head indoors to peruse the wonderful offerings of our hand-selected artisans that will nourish you well into 2013. Who'da thunk that drinking straws could be made out of glass, amazingly sturdy, and so good for your health. Don't take my word for it, talk to the family at the Simply Straws booth.
January's Independent Marketplace will benefit Esalen Institute. The Independent Gallery will be hosting them as they celebrate movement, dance, sustainability, body-work, and massage. One of their highly qualified staff will lead a 1 hour yoga session, so bring your mats. Adorn the body you have or the body you plan to have with jade. Jade Shack is bringing their very best pieces for your wearing.
Be inspired by the work of Marilee. Her lush watercolor and acrylic botanical still life's populated with birds, butterflies and bouquets are vivid and seemingly alive. The Lyceum of Monterey will be in the Kid's Corner this month. We can only imagine what they will bring with them and what your kids learn will be limited only by what they can imagine. Caraccioli Cellars was such a big hit that we have invited them back to start the New Year right!
