Travel'n Blues Showcase: Andy Cohen, Leroy Pierson, and Donna Herula
As we know, the blues originated deep in the American South, then over the years moved up the Mississippi to the North, evolving as it went. In this showcase we hope to present a historical representation of some of the routes the blues took on its way up the river. So for your listening pleasure, we will have three guitarists in the round, each an expert in their area of the blues: from South to North, Andy Cohen (Memphis), St. Louis own Leroy Pierson, and Chicago Blues Mistress, Donna Herula. Each of these second-generation blues musicians have learned their craft directly from the masters themselves. So prepare yourself for a scenic one-way trip to the North and you dont even have to pack a bag.
