Roni Lee & Friends

Vessel Taphouse is honored and SO excited to once again host a true Rock Star on the Vessel main stage. Roni's list of accomplishments, friends and co-band members reads like a "who's who" of the Los Angeles rock & roll scene and includes Joan Jett, Kim Fowley, Van Halen and too many others to list. As a member of Venus and the Razorblades, Roni would team up with Van Halen as their opening act for a number of shows as well as the Motels, The Runaways, Devo, and many others. Van Halen later recorded one of Venus and the Razorblades songs, Young and Wild.

Joining Roni this time around will be Lynn Sorensen. A Seattle native, Lynn spent a few years as the bassist for Paul Rodgers and Bad Company and has worked with Roger Fisher and Mike Derosier of Heart, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Randy Hanson, Ronnie Montrose and currently plays bass for Spike and the Impalers. Lynn is a true rock legend from right here in our own back yard!

Also joining Roni is Jerry Batista. Jerry is a local Seattle music icon that plays with the Dusty 45's, the Davanos and as an honored guest of more bands than can be named here. If you live in Seattle and haven't seen and heard Jerry play, you're obviously living under a rock. So get out of there and see what you've been missing.

Roni and her band of truly gifted mates will grace the Vessel stage at 7:30 on October 20th. A legitimate rock and roll legend in her own right, there isn't a musician in town that doesn't want to be on stage with her so you never know who might show up.

This is one of the most amazing and talented groups of musicians to have ever taken the Vessel stage and a show you DON'T want to miss.
