Open the Door for Three at Chief O'Neill's

We are fiddler Liz Knowles, uilleann piper/flute/whistle player Kieran O'Hare and singer/bouzouki player Pat Broaders- We are Open the Door for Three! We are on our way back to Chicago on a Midwest tour to celebrate our new release, "The Joyful Hour". This album was recorded and mixed in Dublin, Ireland and mastered with Chicago's own Blaise Barton of JoyRide Studios. It features a Wexford song from Pat's father, songs from Nic Jones, Martin Carthy and Dave Swarbrick and Len Graham, and tunes from many sources including the wax cylinders of Patsy Touhy, Waifs and Strays collection, the McDonald Collection, the Goodman collection, and from Cape Breton Island as well as tunes from the deep recesses of Kieran O'Hare's mind! Liz has added her florid and rich arrangements to put icing on the cake. If you know us and our music, then you won't be disappointed! The trio has a longtime connection with Chicago and it is a great pleasure for us to return to what used to be our local, Chief O'Neill's Pub, for a night of music and laughs and friends.
