Soprano ANN MOSS is an ardent and acclaimed champion of contemporary vocal music who performs and collaborates with a dynamic array of American composers. Her high, silvery, flexible voice has been singled out by Opera News for its beautifully pure floated high notes and by San Francisco Classical Voice for powerful expression and "exquisite phrasing."

As co-founder and Artistic Director of new-music repertory group CMASH, she has been responsible for the creation and premiere of over seventy art songs, opera roles and vocal chamber works. She has lectured about vocal composition at MIT, UC Davis, Longy School of Music of Bard College, NYU Tisch School For The Arts, UT Pan America, Sacramento State University, and CSU Los Angeles, and served on the 2008 & 2011 faculty at CSU Summer Arts' Composer/Performer Collaboration Workshop. Her debut album, CURRENTS (Angels Share Records, 2013), recorded and produced by Grammy Award-winner Leslie Ann Jones at Skywalker Sound, features some of the extraordinary new and recent American vocal/chamber music Ann has championed over the past decade. Her sophomore album, Love Life, features music for soprano, cello and piano by Bay Area composers Jake Heggie and Liam Wade which she will record with cellist Emil Miland and pianist Steven Bailey, once again in collaboration with producer/engineer Leslie Ann Jones at Skywalker Sound. Ann Moss has recorded on PARMA, Naxos and Jaded Ibis Productions labels.

Cellist EMIL MILAND is an acclaimed soloist, chamber and orchestral musician. He made his solo debut with the San Francisco Symphony at age 16, the same year he was selected to perform in the Rostropovich Master Classes at UC Berkeley. A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, he has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and Chamber Music America. He has been a member of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra since 1988, and has collaborated with Joyce DiDonato, Susan Graham, Marilyn Horne, Frederica von Stade, and the late Zheng Cao and Lorraine Hunt-Lieberson.

Many composers have written and dedicated works for him including Ernst Bacon, David Conte, David Carlson, Shinji Eshima, Jake Heggie, Andrew Imbrie, Lou Harrison, Richard Hervig, James Meredith and Dwight Okamura. Recordings include David Carlsons Cello Concerto No. 1 with the Utah Symphony on New Worlds Records and his Sonata for Cello and Piano with pianist David Korevaar on MSR Records. In December 2012, Miland joined the Sonos Ensemble as soloist on a 9 city tour of Japan. He has toured with Sonos throughout the U.S. In 2013 he made his Paris debut under the auspices of the European American Musical Alliance.

MEREDITH CLARK is a versatile harpist, whose varied interests have taken her all over the world to perform as a soloist, chamber musician, and as part of an orchestra. From her international solo debut playing the Ginastera Harp Concerto at the famed Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Germany, playing as a member of an orchestra in Japan, and premiering contemporary chamber music across the United States, Meredith loves sharing her passion for music with others.

Meredith currently resides in San Francisco, and performs with many orchestras in the Bay Area, including the San Francisco Symphony, as well as keeping a busy solo and chamber music performance schedule. She has performed for the San Francisco Symphony's education outreach program Adventures in Music, reaching all public elementary school children in the city. Meredith received degrees in Harp Performance from The Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and The Cleveland Institute of Music both while studying under Yolanda Kondonassis.
