Eleanor Dubinsky has found the tender edge where jazz, Lusophone, and pop sensibilities meet emotionally forthright songwriting. She suggests we all work to "Turn It Around," the first single from her upcoming album Soft Spot of My Heart. Eleanor's work embraces sounds from the USA, Cape Verde, and Brazil, thanks to her multifaceted band. To underline her uplifting message, she is expanding her performance to welcome the powerful joy of Brooklyn based contemporary gospel ensemble Greg Stamper Stamper & Soul21, who also make a noteworthy appearance on her new record.

Please join us for this fantastic show so we can celebrate this milestone together!

*Co-written with pianist and composer Frank Ponzio, Turn It Around is an uplifting tribute to the spring that comes after a long winter, literally and spiritually.

Jazz/world artist Eleanor Dubinsky writes songs in English, French and Spanish that mix singer-songwriter, jazz and pop, with Latin and West African rhythmic influences. French Culture Guides named her Best Up and Coming Francophone Singer in NYC and her songs have been featured on MTV, Lifetime and Animal Planet, ads for American Express, radio stations throughout Mexico, and on NPR. Her song Wait For You won the Sennheiser recording contest at the 2012 ASCAP EXPO. Eleanor has made many festival appearances including the 4 + 4 Days of Movement festival in Prague, The International Festival at Philadelphias Kimmel Center for The Performing Arts, the Puerto Morelos Music Festival (Mexico) and concerts in Costa Rica, Portugal, France, Mexico, Cape Verde and Senegal. She performs regularly in New York City, teaches workshops in songwriting and creative process and is a teaching artist with Feel The Music! at NY Presbyterian Hospitals Child And Adolescent Oncology Center.

Soul21 is the primary vocal ensemble at Celebration Spiritual Center. Comprised of a beautiful mix of solo performers, actors, and musicians, this inspired group comes together to create a sound that literally transforms you. Under the leadership of Pastor Greg Stamper, the music has a Contemporary Gospel feel infused with New Thought lyrics that are affirming, uplifting and encouraging.
