Mdou Moctar
Club/Draw and the Howland Cultural Center are pleased to be able to introduce the incredible Mdou Moctar to Beacon. Coming all the way from Agadez Niger, Mdou Moctar and his band will deliver an evening of a dynamic and unique version of Tuareg desert rock with liquid-like guitars, rolling rhythms and soulful vocals. Also performing will be the intriguing and transportive sitar and electric guitar duo, Arranged Marriage from New Paltz. The evening will also feature live painting and light show projections. Tickets, which are $10, are available both here and at the door the day of the performance. Snacks will be provided and wine and beer available.
