Long Island Voices and Sound Symphony will perform the World Premier of "Pay the Ferryman for David Aaron" as well as "Lamiya's Song" and "Dies Magna" - a Requiem by local Composer Michael Bussewitz-Quarm. Just as our community came together during our national crisis after 9-11 to offer hope and support, so too must we join voices to raise awareness and respond to the Opioid and drug crisis affecting so many families on Long Island. We want to support those in recovery and honor those who have sadly passed from the disease of addiction. In this Concert, we sing for freedom in all its forms, with love in our hearts and hope for the future. This is a Benefit Concert for: F.I.S.T: FAMILIES IN SUPPORT OF TREATMENT is a Not-For-Profit organization designed to organize, support, educate, guide, and provide resources to families who are struggling with a loved one's addiction and comfort those who have lost a loved to an overdose.
9-1-1 Veterans: a small non-profit organization dedicated to assisting Long Island's veterans. We provide emergency financial assistance to those who have served or still serving in the finest military in the world.
