The March 2008 Revolve Film and Music Festival
Welcome to the San Francisco opera, where theater director Peter Sellars and composer John Adams collaborate on a modern opera with an original theme: depicting the 48 hour period leading up to the detonation of the first A-Bomb in the New Mexico desert, in 1945. The drama and tension depicted in the opera is highlighted with interwoven background history of nuclear weaponry, featuring newly declassified archival material on J. Robert Oppenhemier. Strange, beautiful and compelling.
Your ticket is your pass to the post-screening reception at Revolve HQ.
We are proud to present the North Carolina premiere of WONDERS ARE MANY: THE MAKING OF DR. ATOMIC and hope you can join us.
