THE BACH FAMILY
The internationally-acclaimed period instrument ensemble, REBEL performs chamber music by J.S. Bach and his illustrious sons. The performers in this colorful program are Matthias Maute, traverso, Jörg-Michael Schwarz & Karen Marie Marmer, violins, Risa Browder, viola, John Moran, cello, Motomi Igarashi, bass and Dongsok Shin, harpsichord.
The concert is the season opener of the eighteenth season of REBEL's own 'Musica Antiqua Nova Series', and will take place at the historic and acoustically excellent Bedford Presbyterian Church in Bedford, NY.
A fully-catered, meet-the-artists reception follows the concert, to which all are invited.
