A Japanese Moonviewing Festival Friday, October 6 & Saturday, October 7, 2017 6:00 9:00 PM
Otsukimi is back for two nights! 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Every year the Japanese Friendship Garden brings the valley a tradtional Japanese Moonviewing festival to celbrate the Fall season.
Our friends at Hiro Sake will be serving tasty sake cocktails. SAPPORO USA beer garden serving premium, premium light, premium black and Sapporo reserve. And of course annual favorites like plum wine and sparkling sake will be available.

Tea Service inside the Tea House by Chado Urasenke Tankokai of Arizona dressed in traditional kimono (Saturday night only, seats are $15.00 and can be purchased at the Tea House gate, seating is limited and sells out qucikly come early for this experience)

Hector Guerrero Art Display https://grasshopperhill.threadless.com/ Signed, numbered, limited-edition prints of an original illustration created especially for the Japanese Friendship Garden by Phoenix artist Hector Guerrero will be available for sale at the event, and the artist will be present as well.
