Liszt, Busoni & Rachmaninoff
Belgian-born pianist Steven Vanhauwaert has appeared as a soloist in major concert halls in the US, Europe and China. His program features later works by Franz Liszt with an Italian inspiration, including the Fantasia quasi Sonata: Après une Lecture de Dante and Jeux d'Eau à la Villa d'Este; along with Ferruccio Busoni's Indian Diary, excerpts from Preludes, Op. 23, by Rachmaninoff, and works by Schumann and Chopin.
