Lisa Bell and Dennis Wanebo Dual CD Release Concert

Lisa and Dennis will be joined by a full band to premier their newest original music CDs. The music runs across many genres from a pair of songwriters who know no musical boundaries. Lisa and Dennis will be joined by Bob Story on Guitar, Mario Pagliarulo on Bass, Chris Malley on Guitar & Mandolin, Chris Sheldon on Drums, and Bob Schlesinger on Keys. Background vocalists and strings will round out the band, creating a musical evening that you won't soon forget!

About Lisa Bell
Lisa's ecclectic original music can be described as "A bubbling stew of roots, rock, blues, jazz, pop and country-with spicy vocals simmered to perfection." Lisa performs tonight from her 4th CD, "The Italian Project." The songs were written over the past two years via Skype with her musical colleagues Bob Story in Boulder and Lisa Marie Simmons in Italy. While the lyrics are primarily written in English, the music captures a wonderful international flavor. Lisa has performed her original music across the country as well as in Italy where she conducted an extensive tour in 2011. Her newest album embodies the positive attitude and messages that she strives to live by.

About Dennis Wanebo
Dennis' music arcs across blues, rock, pop and even gospel. Yet no matter the musical template, his lyrics -- the words of his songs -- betray the heart of an Irish storyteller, and the eyes and ears of a reporter on an American city desk. As songwriter with Bob Story for the Martian Acres Band, Dennis has won three John Lennon International Songwriting awards, the June 2008 nationwide OurStage Songwriting Competition, and "listener's choice" recognition in Australia, and Paris France. During the past two years, Dennis has focused on solo songwriting; and will be performing tonight from an album full of new musical stories, which range from simple love songs to the gathering storm of "The American Dream."
