Arts + Literature Laboratory presents DOSH - genre-transcendent, multi-instrumentalist tastemaker from Minneapolis - and WEATHERMAN, the minimal, downtempo, experimental pop trio made up of Annie Toth on keyboards and vocals, Jason Toth on drums, and Joshua Dumas on electronics. This show on July 28, 2017, is the Madison stop on a short Midwest tour to celebrate the release of Weatherman's self-titled debut, recorded with Alex Inglizian at Chicagos Experimental Sound Studio. Tickets $8 in advance at weathermandosh.bpt.me. Online ticket sales end one hour before the show, and remaining tickets are available at the door. Doors open at 7:30pm. Show at 8pm.

A key collaborator with the likes of Andrew Bird, Redstart, Fog, Lateduster, and many others, Dosh has also shared the stage with Wilco, WHY?, Damo Suzuki, Gary Wilson, Golden Smog, Sole, My Morning Jacket, Tapes 'n Tapes, cLOUDDEAD, Sage Francis, Devendra Banhart, Kid Dakota, Alias, Themselves, Peanut Butter Wolf, P.O.S., Happy Apple, Joseph Arthur, Pizza Boys, the Bad Plus, The Jayhawks, Atmosphere, DJ Vadim and many more.
A minimal, experimental pop trio that loves organ baths and empty space. Annie Higgins: piano / juno / vocals; Jason Toth: drum set / drum machine; Joshua Dumas: electronics.
