Willamette Valley Chamber Music Festival concert I @ J. Christopher Wines
After its sold out inaugural 2016 season, the Willamette Valley Chamber Music Festival will kick off on Friday, August 18th, with an evening concert in the stunning barrel room at J. Christopher Wines. Surrounded by J. Christophers maturing wines, the concert will feature
Corelli's beautiful op.5 no.4 violin sonata, Composer-in residence Gabriela Lena Frank's vibrant Leyendas for string quartet as well as Dvorak's beloved 'American' string quartet.
Performances will showcase internationally acclaimed musicians, including violinists Sasha Callahan, Greg Ewer and Megumi Stohs Lewis; violists Kenji Bunch; and cellist Leo Eguchi, most of whom have deep local roots. Tickets and more details are available now at www.wvchambermusic.org. $40 general admission and $20 for members of each hosting winerys wine club. Tickets for each concert include a three wine tasting paired with each musical program.
