HopStop Craft Beer Festival 2017
Riverside Foods and the Olmsted Society are once again partnering to bring you the Hop Stop craft beer festival. Sample offerings from micro-local craft brewers such as Brickstone Brewery, BuckleDown Brewing, Citizens Cider, Flapjack Brewing, Forbidden Root, Goose Island, Hailstorm Brewing, Noon Whistle Brewing, Pollyanna Brewing, Pipeworks, Right Bee Cider, Safehouse Brewing, Spiteful Brewing, Whiner Brewing and Riverside's own Quincy Street Distilling, among others, Saturday, September 30, 2017, 4 to 7 pm at the Riverside Train Station, Riverside, IL.  The Metra drops you at the door. Food from Sawmilly and Mollie's Public House (food available for purchase separately), and the live music of HopsLager and Dr. Don and the Boogie Monsters round out a wonderful outdoor family friendly setting in the arboretum Village of Riverside.

Special this year just for the kids! The Riverside Arts Center (RAC) will provide art classes from 4 pm to 6:30 pm for kids aged 5 and above with a $5 donation, based on the works or Dali, Warhol, and Pollock, at their nearby facility. Parents need to drop off and pick up kids at the Riverside Arts Center, 32 East Quincy Street. Craft beer and childcare with a flare! Register for the children's art classes with the passcode of HOPSTOP on the Riverside Arts Center website at http://www.riversideartscenter.com/category/classes/kids-classes/.

Commemorative tasting glass is provided with each ticket price and this will be a zero waste event. Thanks to Flood Brothers for sponsoring zero waste efforts. 100% of the proceeds from the event go to the Olmsted Society in preserving and promoting Frederick Law Olmsted's vision and fostering a sustainable future. See www.olmstedsociety.org for more information on this nearly 50 year old non-profit organization and its good works.
