Early Music Voices: Traces
In the Middle Ages, music and song permeated every aspect of life and culture, from sublime religious expression to earthy entertainment. Using the traces of information found in medieval songs and theoretical writings as well as contemporary singing traditions, this programme seeks to restore the human expression, life and colour to songs of the distant past.
