Wish You Were Pink and Bill Smith
A special "double bill" with 2 of Steamboat's favorite bands - Wish You Were Pink and Bill Smith. Wish You Were Pink will be doing a special early set from 8-9 as part of the Logan Truelove fundraiser and silent auction. Fundraiser goes from 6-9. If you don't like to stay up late and/or want to support Logan, come on down for the early set. Donations will be accepted.
Bill Smith takes the stage at 10 pm for a high energy set of original funk and rock. Following Bill Smith there will be a "dance off" inspired and judged by our resident "dance like nobody's watching" local Bill Jones. Winner receives a full year of free admission to all shows at Schmiggity's. Wish You Were Pink takes the stage after the dance off.
Wish You Were Pink The freshest, most authentic Pink Floyd tribute band around. Featuring full-album sets: Animals, Wish You Were Here, Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall and one of the most amazing and mesmerizing light shows in town. If you close your eyes, youll think it is Floyd. $5 cover and the show starts at 10 pm. This is one of Steamboat's favorite and most requested local bands that features Mr. Schmiggity himself - Pat Waters.
Bill Smith Taking new steps on the grand musical journey, Bill Smith has found the ability to ferment futuristic songs with classic rock instrumentation and has been leaving music fans breathless with their heavy hitting sound. Featuring a repertoire of solid original songs seething with hooks and tastefully chosen covers, this is a band that holds a consistently high level of energy throughout their sets.
