Whoop & Hollar Folk Festival
Set on a scenic property that magically comes to life for one day a year, this truly unforgettable festival welcomes you!
Experience a delightful afternoon and evening of live music, featuring a diverse lineup of 100% local Manitoban artists. Listen to sounds of folk, blues, pop, rock, and everything in between. And when some of the musicians come together for the evening workshop, new sounds will emerge. The stage is nestled under a sweeping canopy of trees, just 45 minutes from the Winnipeg perimeter.
Check out the food vendors and artisans, have a picnic in nature, enjoy a meditative wander in the prairie labyrinth garden, or let your children roam freely on the Cottonwood Trail. Sit back and relax, or dance into the night. Come as you are and be yourself - this is your retreat!
Discover the vibe of The Red Barn, where you can find an ongoing musical party between sets. Bring your favourite instrument for the late night jam sessions around the campfire, and feel free to pitch a tent for one or two nights.
There's lots of fun for all ages! If you need a ride to the festival, take the Hippie Bus from Winnipeg. Come "Whoop It Up" one more time this summer!
Gates and tent campsite open at 2:00 PM. Mainstage program begins at 3:30 with an Indigenous ceremony. Music begins at 4:00 pm and slides into the evening, followed by jam sessions and camping!
