Kensington Singers and Victoria Park Singers present Get Happy!
Join Kensington Singers and Victoria Park Singers at St James's Church, Clerkenwell for an evening of jazz classics and soulful songs.
Our summer concert features original compositions from rising jazz artist Jihad Darwish. We have commissioned the multi-instrumentalist to create a new jazz inspired choral work. Evocation will feature 140 voices plus jazz trio, sax and strings. Darwish is currently gaining support from the likes of Jamie Cullum, and he most recently performed at the Cheltenham Jazz festival on the BBC introducing stage.
We will be raising funds for London's Air Ambulance on the night.
Tickets are £10/£8 in advance, and £12/£10 on the door. While we welcome small children to enjoy our music we don't allow dogs.
